Architectural Guide of Quito.-This is a Spanish language publication with an abstract in English and French. It is a historic document comprising four years of research, with updated information till 2007, which shows architecture and urbanism in Quito and its parishes. The authors, Evelia Peralta and Rolando Moya Tasquer are renowned architects with national and international recognition for their contributions to the study and dissemination of Ecuador’s architecture and culture. The importance of the guide lies in the detailed documentation of the works produced since 1534 to the present. It has 568 pages with 349 texts of works, spaces, districts and parishes; 200 building plans and 550 photographs. It is a historic document of constant use in the study of architecture for architects, historians, researchers, students and for all those who want an in depth knowledge of our city and its architectural heritage.
